You pick up County Road 51 about 1.5 miles past the Silverton Extreme Ski Area, which can be seen from the site. Rough cut driveway already put in. Last three times I was on the property I ran into deer and elk. Only building area is on the very west end, otherwise property is too steep. Big spruce trees and great views looking west towards the back side of Red Mountain Pass. The building area for this property is below 11,000 feet, so it would not come under the restrictive San Juan County regulations regarding homes built at/near timberline. There are no tunnels that I am aware of on this property.I believe all 4 survey corners are in. You'll get both title insurance and a general warranty deed. County Road 51 is not maintained year-round. They run a plow over it in the spring and that is about it.
