As a western slope kid raised on a ranch, Dale Davidson knew he would “ride for the brand” throughout his life.  Dale’s childhood experiences taught him that hard work reaps rewards by raising his own herd of cattle while attending middle and high school.

As a teen, he apprenticed with a beekeeper and soon supervised his own crew; it was a sweet summer job he enjoyed until he graduated from Lyon College in Arkansas with degrees in psychology and philosophy.

The lifestyle he loved in Colorado called his name again and he returned to accept a position with Alpine Bank.  Dale rode for the Alpine Bank brand, assuming numerous leadership opportunities, and creating close relationships with his clients and employees that are still of great value to him.  He moved from a management trainee to president of the Montrose branch, always with the intent of his clients to prosper.

Following his banking career, Dale spent time in commercial insurance offering many clients his ability to effectively handle liability and risk exposure.  This expanse of expertise honed his skill set of handling countless components of risk management to his new venture into commercial real estate for Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties. When Dale places a person or business under his brand of care, everyone wins.  He can take good care of good people fairly, legally, ethically, intellectually, honestly, and then provide solid advice one direction or another. He proudly says that he will not lie, cheat, steal, or hide a body for a client, but he is incredibly loyal to every client in his purview.

In Montrose, Dale advised non-profit organizations by sitting on numerous boards over the years including Valley Symphony, Community Options, CMU Advisory, Governmental Affairs Committee, and the Montrose Education Foundation.  He is a past president of the Montrose Economic Development Corporation and served on El Pomar’s Regional Council.

On a Saturday night, Dale can be found eating dinner with his wife at one of Montrose’s fine restaurants where they chat with old friends and new acquaintances.  They have five amazing children who love to spend time together, laughing and cracking jokes.  Grace, Isaac, Noelle, Brooke, and Harper all ride for the brand.
